La Roque St Christophe - is an interesting old fortified troglodytic village just a short drive from Les Eyzies in Perigord. It's a great destination for beautiful vistas and interesting history with artifacts. Kids love it and there is even a picnic ground with kiosk.

Colours of Perigord.
Lascaux II - Replica subterranean cave of the original Lascaux, which is closed to the general public so as to minimise contamination and degradation of the cave paintings by humidity and exposure. The replica, nonetheless, has an authentic feel and gives a very real impression of the original.

Lascaux II cave paintings. Great time and effort went in to this replica cave of the original, to make it look as close the real thing as possible.
Large replica statue of a 20cm tall original - the fertility figure - La Venus de Sireuil, which was found in the Perigord region area. This was sculpted by local stonemason and craftsman.
